The latest poll in the battle for Senate in Arizona has Kyl at 48% and Jim Pederson at 43%. If anyone had written off Arizona then you better think again. This is going to be a much closer race than Nevada. I have been volunteering for Pederson and I can tell you that his campaign has struck a chord with Arizona voters. He has spent several million on campaign advertising and now has Kyl in his sights.
I think the debates will be crucial. Democratic turnout will also be very important. Independents are breaking for us 5 to 3. The reason we are still behind is because of the heavy republican make-up of Arizona. Still, people here do not agree with the war and are sick and tired of the Republicans.
I believe that independents will vote heavily for the Democrats all over the country this year. Just have to get them out to vote. Of course any incumbent that is under 50% at this point is extremely vulnerable. This is the one that could put us over the top on November 7 so send some money if you can!!!
